Trustees

Jane Hinnrichs

Chair of Trustees

Jane moved to Dorset after over 30 years living in London and working in marketing communications in the private and public sector. From 2008-2014, she was Chair of the Board of Trustees of Breast Cancer Care, the UK wide charity providing care, support and information for anyone affected by breast cancer.

Jane’s father died when she was only 14 years old and support for children and young people was almost nonexistent. She is passionate about Mosaic’s aims and mission and believes it has the potential to be the leading provider of training for professionals and support for children and young people who have lost someone they loved.

Neil Cradock

Trustee

Neil Cradock, a professional with over 20-years financial background, joined Mosaic, as a trustee in 2023. Bringing a wealth of financial expertise, Neil’s commitment to community well-being aligns seamlessly with Mosaic’s mission of providing child bereavement services.

His strategic thinking and analytical skills, refined over two decades in finance, will support Mosaic towards sustained growth and impact. Neil’s involvement in community support, combined with his genuine empathy, makes him a valuable addition to Mosaic’s board of trustees. As a trustee, Neil is set to leverage his financial acumen to contribute to Mosaic’s sustainability.

Rowan Seymour

Trustee

Rowan has supported many young people moving from First to Middle School as a Transition Learning Mentor. She has run ELSA and communication groups and mentored young people on a 1:1 basis.

Rowan currently co-facilitates Connected Minds a group for 9–13-year-olds struggling to attend and cope with school. She is also a Dorset Reading Partner.

Rowan knows the value and importance of Mosaic’s work and is keen to support the charity through her role as a trustee.

James Burleigh

Trustee

James enjoyed a 30-year career with global visitor attraction operator Merlin Entertainments before retiring at the end of 2022.

Born and raised in Sheffield, James and his family moved to Dorset in 1995. Married to Helen with three grown-up children, James has a wealth of commercial and charity experience and thanks to his love of all things Sea Life, is also currently a trustee of the SEA LIFE Trust, the marine conservation charity.

James has joined the board of Mosaic after a year of fundraising in his Captaincy year at Came Down Golf Club, where a record breaking £10,000 was raised through various initiatives.

Having seen the amazing passion and care the team at Mosaic have at first hand, James hopes to be able to contribute in providing Trustee support and guidance for the benefit of the many children who will require our help in the years ahead.

Wendy Grassby

Trustee

My name is Wendy Grassby and I have lived in Dorchester for many years and have 3 adult sons and one Grandchild. I have worked in all age groups of Education but my last job was as the Special Needs Coordinator at the Academy on Portland. Part of my responsibilities was to support children experiencing bereavement. This is where my link with Mosaic began as I referred children and their families for support . I recognise the impact the counselling and whole family support Mosaic provided at no cost for the family.

Caroline Coldicutt

Trustee

After 7 years running operations for European startups in London and Paris, Caroline decided to pursue a career in mental health after a volunteering role with AgeUK during the Covid-19 pandemic. She moved to Dorset in 2022, and joined Dorset Mind as a Mental Health Triage Practitioner, assessing patients across 4 GP surgeries in Poole. Caroline still works at Dorset Mind and runs the Connected Minds programme alongside fellow trustee, Rowan, supporting 10-13 year olds struggling with school attendance.

Caroline is passionate about adult and children’s mental health, and enjoys volunteering for charities such as Samaritans and Childline. She is keen to support Mosaic’s growth in the years to come, and see its services reach as many children in need in Dorset as possible.

Nick Timms

Trustee

Nick has grown up and lived in Dorset most of his life and runs a locally based IT company in the County, through which he met Mosaic. Nick joined Mosaic as a trustee in 2025 with a hope to make a contribution to the charity, whose mission and direction has really impressed him, with the important work they do to directly support young people who have been bereaved at a difficult and important time in their lives.

Nick hopes, through his business and technology background, to be able to support the great progress of the charity and to contribute to the community within which he has grown up and lives with his young family today.
