We have a team of over 40 volunteers who help us to provide the service we offer to bereaved children and young people.
The volunteers who help at our Residential Weekends receive in-house training, safeguarding training and are required to have advanced DBS checks.
They give their time to work with the children, listen to their stories and have fun taking part in activities.
We are always looking for volunteers to join our fundraising team. If you have a few spare hours to help on craft stalls, organising events, holding coffee mornings, making items to sell or any other ways you can think of - we would love to hear from you.
The office is a very busy place and we welcome any help with sending out newsletters and general office duties. If you have the time - we can find something for you to do.
Twice a year we hold a training day for volunteers wanting to support children at our Residential Weekends.
The training takes place at our office in Milborne St Andrew on a Saturday from 9am - 4pm.
We cover some theory on childhood bereavement, talk about the residential weekend programme and take part in some of the craft activities the children do at camp.
Please get in touch if you would like to volunteer at one of our residential weekends.
