Training Team Updates - Summer 2018

The schools may have broken up for the holidays but here in the training department we have been busy preparing for the new 'term' ahead!

In recent months the Training Team has seen a few changes with the recruitment of Siân as the Training and Development Co-Ordinator followed by myself (Emily) taking up the post of Training and Development Assistant. We are loving working at Mosaic and have lots of new ideas for the coming months, so watch this space! With no courses running until September, we are seizing the opportunity to settle into our roles and sort through all our course resources.

Preparations for the Mosaic Conference are well underway with bookings now being taken. The theme this year is 'Being Mindful of Grieving Children' and have two brilliant guest speakers, Dr Elaine Kasket and Dr Robert Beadel as well as a choice of 3 workshops. The cost of the day is £45 which includes lunch and refreshments and is being held at the Hamworthy Club in Canford Magna. Places for this are limited so early booking is advised and booking forms can be found on the conference section of the website.

We have also been busy designing our 2018/2019 training booklet which has now been sent to the printers and we can't wait for you all to see it! If you are not already on our training mailing list and would like to be, please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Our training workshops begin again next month beginning with our 'Introduction to Childhood Bereavement' course which is running on Monday 24th September. If you would like to book a place, please visit the training section of the website to download a booking form.
