How to Refer

Get in touch with Mosaic to see your best pathway to support...
If you would like to make a referral to Mosaic, please contact us and we will be happy to guide you through the process.

Mosaic offers support to children aged between 5-18 who are in an educational setting, live in Dorset and are having trouble processing a bereavement.

    This can include;
  • Pre-bereavement such as a terminal diagnosis of a loved one
  • Recent beravement support
  • Bereavement Therapy

We have various referral routes to offer support and it is usually best to speak to us at Mosaic or send us an email.

Do I need to pay for Mosaic Support?

Mosaic receives a limited amount of funds from the local authority, and most regularly we are able to ask parents and carers to speak to school who should be aware how to make applications to the authority for Mosaic support. We also work with a number of organisations who can fund our bereavement work. Some cases may require private funding, but we always hope to find provision for all families.

How long does it take?

Mosaic bereavement therapy is tailored to each family, after meeting children and getting to know their story, we will be able to provide a plan to work towards. Some families may require additional therapy and our experienced therapists will take this into account and make applications for further funding where required.
